She crunched the gears in her haste to pull off, and Elliot winced and stroked the dashboard in much the same way as she usually did when she hurt her little car. Beth groaned under her breath and did her best to try and ignore the man…thing sitting next to her. He was so broad that their shoulders almost touched every time she took a corner, and she floored it. The sooner she got home and away from his intoxicating closeness in the car, the better.
The drive home was completed in record time, thanks to an extraordinary run of green traffic lights in her favor, and Beth couldn’t shake the suspicion that Elliot was somehow responsible for it. He was after all a walking, talking computer, who, according to Brian, could use any interface to access the national database. It was too much to contemplate, and Beth wasn’t at all sure she was not party to an almighty prank.
Surely a man as good-looking and real as him could not be an Android. He certainly didn’t look anything like the other Orgasmatron Brian had demonstrated his set of safe words on. Whilst it had been reassuring to see, that she had a set of words to stop Elliot in his tracks, should the need ever arise, she had to wonder why Brian hadn’t demonstrated them on Elliot.
It couldn’t take that long to reset him, as Brian had claimed. No, much more likely that Jerry and Brian had decided to have some fun at her expense and had set her up with someone, they knew she would find hard to resist.
She swore under her breath when she couldn’t get the blasted front door key to work. His soft chuckle did strange things to her insides, and she put up no resistance when he took the key off her and unlocked the door with ease. She sprinted past him and put the safety of the long breakfast bar between them. It separated the kitchen galley from her living room. Seeing him here in her space only emphasized the lunacy of this whole situation.
“Relax, my sweet Beth. I’m not going to jump you, unless you want me to.” His amused voice washed over her, and she opted for just glaring at him.
“I’m not your Beth, sweet or otherwise, and you can drop the pretense now. We both know you’re no android. How much have they paid you for this little adventure?”
“Paid me?” Elliot looked puzzled and then burst out laughing. A deep belly laugh that made all her righteous anger deflate.
“So, you find it hard to believe that I am a Man-Droid, yet you have no problems assuming that I am some kind of a gigolo?” He pinned her in place with the intense gaze he threw in her direction, and he shook his head, suddenly deadly serious.
“Do you think so little of your friends, and yourself for that matter, that you would believe Brian and Jerry would do that to you? I was given the impression you were a better judge of character, at least in your choice of friends. Your choice of men definitively leaves a lot to be desired. Most weren’t fit to lick your boots. Roger was a particularly nasty piece of work.”
The mention of the last man she’d let into her life, albeit briefly, had bile rise in her throat, and Beth swallowed hastily and turned away so that he wouldn’t see her pathetic reaction.
“What do you know about Roger?”
She jumped when he appeared next to her and nudged her chin up with his knuckles. This close up, he was even more handsome, and she leant into his reassuring presence.
“I know everything there is to know about you.” His voice had dropped slightly, and Beth stood spellbound as he stepped closer still. So close that their thighs touched. He leant forward and rested his hands on the breakfast bar either side of her, so that she was caged in with nowhere to go. He studied her, a slight smile on those full lips. Lips that Beth was suddenly desperate to feel on her, but he pulled away. She managed to draw a shuddering breath into her lungs, and her eyes widened when he twisted the fingers of his right hand into his left forearm and pulled.
A panel popped up out of his skin, exposing a complicated-looking set of electrical circuitry. Nestled in the middle was the tiniest computer chip Beth had ever seen.
“Holy fuck, you really are a ro—I mean Man-Droid.”
Elliot chuckled and tapped the chip nestled deep in his electrical veins.
“That I am, sweet Beth, and this chip is the reason why. Everything I am, every memory and every piece of information I have ever accumulated is stored in this chip. All I know about you is right in here. And what I don’t know yet, I will learn. Brian has programmed me to be self-improving. I can fix myself, and I am constantly evolving. I breathe, I have a heartbeat.” He took her hand and rested it on his chest. His heat branded her, and sure enough she could feel the reassuring thump of his heart beating under her fingertips.
“You’re always cold, so my core temperature runs higher than normal to keep you warm. Your favorite food is lasagne, and you hate having your feet tickled. Your neck is the most erogenous zone in your body, and you like your men to take charge. When you were five, you fell off the swing in your back garden and broke your nose.” He smiled at her sharp intake of breath and ran one long finger over the slight bump left behind.
“You have a tattoo on your left bum cheek that spells your first boyfriend’s name in Chinese, and you can’t quite bring yourself to have it removed, since he died in a car crash. You like to—”
“Okay, okay, stop.” Beth put her hand over his mouth to stop him from talking and immediately wished he hadn’t. He licked her palm, and she hastily pulled her hand away.
“Can I touch it?” she asked, pointing to his arm.
“Of course you can.”
Gingerly she ran her fingers over the curiously cool area, all too aware of his quiet gaze on her.
“Isn’t it dangerous, having it that easily accessible? Surely anyone could get at it there?” She bit her lip and shifted nervously from foot to foot, as he closed the flap with one fluid, smooth move.
“Try and see what happens.”
“I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You won’t. Trust me, just try.”
She threw him a worried glance and dutifully ran her hand over his arm. His skin was silky smooth and so soft she couldn’t help but linger. This close to him, touching him, she was too aware of his latent masculinity, his scent, and the way he towered over her.
Her throat constricted and she licked her dry lips, trying to concentrate on her breathing and at finding that blasted flap. But try as she might, she couldn’t.
His breath skittered over her neck right at the spot that turned her to mush, and she closed her eyes and fought her body’s reaction.
“It’s DNA activated, my love.” The endearment skimmed across her sensitized nerve endings, and Beth closed her eyes and squeezed her thighs together. Was it possible to come from listening to a man’s voice alone? No, not a man. He wasn’t a man. She had to remember that.
“Only mine and Brian’s DNA will open that flap. No one else can, so you see, there is no need to fear exposure.” He tugged at her hair band as he spoke and pulled it free. Her hair tumbled down over her shoulders, and he massaged her scalp with just the right amount of pressure to make her sigh.
“Let me take care of you, Beth.”
Chapter Three
Elliot sensed her confusion and unwilling surrender, and he lifted the silky strands of her hair to his nose and inhaled. If he had blood in his veins it would be fizzing. As it was, his circuits were in danger of overheating. Whatever adjustment Brian had done to his chip had activated the minute she’d run her fingers over his arm, and Elliot had a hard time keeping himself in check.
His programming was meant to focus him on the woman or man he was with, but this surge of sensation was new and exciting. Every touch, every smell, and every color seemed to burn itself into the very fabric of his existence.
Was this what it was like to be human? This intense feeling of euphoria, this need to touch and to be touched? If so, it was no wonder that humans made fools of themselves over the other sex. Elliot was no stranger to the pleasurable sensations joining his body to a human could evoke, but this went deeper than pure, programmed attracti
on. For the first time since he came into existence, Elliot felt, and he wasn’t sure whether he liked this sensation.
The quick diagnostic check he performed on himself every hour showed nothing amiss. His chip was working, the new connections fusing and evolving as they were meant to, and yet…there was something else at play here. Something that he couldn’t wait to explore further.
He drew Beth closer against him and smiled when she moaned and pressed herself into his long frame.
“I am not having sex with you no matter what magic you work with your hands.”
“I’m not expecting you to, but you’re tense. Let me help relax you so that you can sleep. You haven’t been sleeping enough.”
She stiffened in his arms and pulled away. If looks could kill, he would be dead right now. It was a sobering thought, and he resisted the urge to draw her back against him.
“How do you know that? I haven’t told anyone. Not even Jerry knows, so how could you possibly know that?”
“I can read you, Beth. Your muscles are aching and tired, adrenaline is rushing through your system, and you’re not breathing properly. You’re also fighting your attraction to me, even though I can smell your need.”
Her eyes went wide, and the most endearing blush spread up from her neck into her cheeks. She really was beautiful. With curves in all the right places, flawless skin, and hair the color of autumn leaves framing a heart-shaped face, with lips made for kissing. Her eyes were an unusual mix of green and silver grey, slightly too large for her face. Her features were not symmetrical enough to be classed beautiful, but that was what made her looks unique. Elliot appreciated art in all its forms, and Beth wore her emotions on her face, plain to see for anyone who cared to look. He didn’t need his advanced skills to read her at all, and he silently cursed the men in her past who made her so weary.
She had a body made for fucking, and his cock responded to his thoughts with predictable efficiency.
“That’s as may be, but it doesn’t mean I am going to let you anywhere near me. Not after what happened to Jerry.”
“Jerry was an unfortunate accident, and the model she used was an older one. I have several fail-safes in place, and I run self-diagnostics on the hour, more often when actively engaged. You will be perfectly safe.”
She closed her eyes and seemed to say a silent prayer. When she opened them again there was a shimmer of tears, and acting on instinct, he pulled her into his arms and simply held her. What made him do that, he couldn’t fathom by logic, but he needed to hold her in his arms and give comfort. It felt right to hold her close, and he closed his eyes and let the myriad of sensations wash over him as his synapses fired and made hitherto unused connections.
* * * *
Why the fuck was she on the verge of tears? And why did she not pull away from him, but actively burrow in closer as though he was her snuggly duvet? This was insane and so not what she’d signed up for.
Had he been a man, she would have pulled him up for his egotistical behavior, but the truth of the matter was he was only doing just that—telling the truth. Man-Droids were incapable of lying. At least that’s what she’d been told. And he didn’t give the impression that he was anything but sincere. His complete focused attention on her was a heavy aphrodisiac indeed, and the ever-growing bulge in his jeans made her throat go dry and her pussy clench in need.
She recalled that particular bit in the advertising blurb only too well. His cock would adjust to whatever girth and length would be needed to achieve maximum penetration, and enjoyment. She shuddered at the thought, and his hold on her tightened.
“I know what you need. A nice long soak in the bath whilst I rustle us up something to eat.”
The abrupt change in his demeanor made her blink, and she shrieked when he picked her up and sat her on the work top. He dropped a kiss on her nose, and the twinkle in his eyes was positively mischievous. Her lips twitched when he winked at her, and her heart skipped a beat. The man…thing…android…whatever the fuck he might be was simply clit-clenching gorgeous when he did that.
“You stay right here. One hot bath coming up.”
Before she could stop him, he’d disappeared. She could hear him rummaging around in her bathroom, and when he reappeared minutes later with her bathrobe draped over his muscled forearm, she followed his unspoken demand without hesitation.
“Strip for me and put this on.”
“I am not stripping in front of you!” And that thought really shouldn’t excite her so much that another gush of her juices soaked her underwear.
Elliot merely smiled and raised an eyebrow, and she chewed her lip with her top teeth.
“I will be over there with my back to you, preparing the vegetables for dinner, but I can watch if you’d rather?”
“I’m not… I assumed… oh, fuck. I’ll do that in the bathroom.”
She grabbed the robe off him and fled to the relative safety of her bathroom with Elliot’s laughter ringing in her ears. Trust her to get the one robot with a strange sense of humor.
An hour later and having declined several offers of having her hair washed and her back scrubbed, and thoroughly mellow after partaking in a glass or two of one of the bottles of wine she’d been saving for a special occasion, she padded into her kitchen.
The delicious smells coming from her oven made her tummy rumble loudly, and Elliot swung round. She’d changed into her comfortable jogging bottoms and baggy tee she usually wore around the house, determined to not give the impression that she was even attempting to dress up for him. Yet the way he studied her made her feel as though she had. Her nipples beaded into hard little bullets, chafing against the confines of her lacy bra, and she resigned herself to having to eat dinner sat in a thong soaked through with her arousal.
He hadn’t even touched her. Lord help her if he decided to act on the molten promise in his eyes. He held out his hand, and without thinking she took it. His large digits closed around hers, and he pulled her closer and then turned her around.
“You need to brush your hair. It will be all tangled otherwise. Let me do that for you?”
He ran his fingers through her unruly tresses in an almost reverent way, untangling the knots as he went, and Beth’s stomach tightened in need. That simple act shouldn’t feel so erotic.
He dropped a kiss on the quivering pulse point in her neck, and his hot breath skittered across the sensitive skin under her ear, sending a shiver of awareness down her spine.
“Don’t move. I’ll get your hairbrush.”
“You really don’t need to—” But he wasn’t listening, and Beth forgot about her protests as she watched the poetry in motion that was his retreating butt. Her fingers positively itched to give his ass a squeeze, and she shook her head to clear it off the erotic images invading her mind. In a flash he was back and urged her to sit on one of the kitchen chairs. He stood so close that his body heat seeped into her bones, and she closed her eyes and simply gave herself up to the sensations his touch evoked. She’d forgotten how sensual it was to have someone else brush her hair, and she lost all sense of time as he worked his magic on her tresses.
The insistent beeping of the oven timer pulled her out of her sensual haze, and she blinked several times to get her eyes to focus. He’d moved to stand in front of her, his hands either side of her neck, gently massaging her shoulders, and he smiled. Their gazes locked, and her heart turned into a jackhammer at what she read in the depths of his amber eyes. Affection, lust, determination, and so much heat it blew her away. No man had ever looked at her as though he wanted to eat her.
“I…you should probably get that.” Her voice sounded hoarse even to her own ears, and Elliot’s smile deepened. He tucked her hair behind her ears and ran a finger along her jaw and over her lips. It took all of her willpower to not give in to temptation and suck that digit into her mouth to taste it. Instead, she dropped her gaze and immediately wished she hadn’t. Sat as she was in front of him, it gave her the perfect view
of the imprint of his long, thick cock straining against the confines of his zipper.
Her mouth went dry, and she licked her lips, and Elliot groaned. It was a very male, very aroused groan that she would never have expected him to make, and that made her pussy clench and more of her juices coat her nether lips.
His hold on her shoulders tightened imperceptibly, and then he stepped away and cleared his throat.
“Let’s eat.”
* * * *
Watching Beth eat was torture. The woman didn’t just eat, she made love to her food with complete abandonment, and Elliot had to adjust his cock on several occasions. Every time he ordered it into a flaccid state, one look at her luscious lips wrapped around her fork had him harden, as though he was an inexperienced human teenager incapable of controlling his appendage.
Did she know what she was doing? His eyes narrowed, and he gave up all pretense of eating himself. He didn’t need the food after all. He could assimilate food and drink to make him appear more human, in the same way as his cock could produce semenlike fluid. Another thing he suddenly seemed incapable of controlling. His boxers were sticky and getting uncomfortable, and he would not get relief any time soon.
Beth wanted him, and he had no doubt he could persuade her, but he wanted her to make the first move. There was too much wariness in her eyes when she glanced at him, and with the speed she was draining the wine he’d found, she would soon be incapable of making any rational decisions.
“So, tell me about this reunion,” he asked in as much of an effort to distract himself from his erotic thoughts, as in finding out everything he needed to know.
She snorted in disgust and put her wineglass down a bit too forcefully. The wine sloshed over the sides, and she frowned at the crimson stain appearing on the tablecloth.
“Damn it. There goes another one of those things. Anyway, surely you know all about it already. You seem to know everything else about me. Can’t you search your circuits or something and pull up my file or sommat? That’s how this works, right? Make yourself irresistible to the human you’re with so she lets you fuck her six ways from Sunday?”
